12 of the Top 20 Fastest Growing Jobs Are in Healthcare


At the start of September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released their 10-year economic forecast, which highlights predictions for the job market over the next decade, and healthcare is poised to be a strong for jobs through 2028.

In particular, twelve of the top twenty jobs expected to see the https://www.bls.gov/ooh/fastest-growing.htm fastest growth in the next decade according to the forecast are healthcare jobs, and the top two fastest growing industries are in healthcare, as well—home health care services ranked 1st and outpatient care centers came in 2nd place.

Here are the top twenty occupations expected to see the highest percent change of employment between 2018 and 2028, with jobs in healthcare in bold.
